New Lead Pastors Jason and Debi Mundy

Our new pastors, Jason and Debi Mundy, were introduced to the church at our "Church at the Beach" service on August 23rd, 2009. They have two small children, Aron [2.5 years] and Abbi [6 months]. Please be in prayer for them and their transition in ministry as they join our 'OHANA!

Jason and Debi were serving at Damascus Foursquare Church in Seal Beach, where they have lead the worship and youth ministries for the past 2 years. Jason was formerly on staff at Hope Chapel Huntington beach as their high school and missions minister, and was also a worship leader there for 6 years. Debi served for many years at Hope Chapel in the areas of youth, college, and womens ministries.

Jason is originally from Hawaii, and Debi is from Huntington Beach. They are very excited to follow the Lord's leading as they move into a lead pastor role here at Ohana Christian Fellowship. Glory To God!!!

Assisting Pastors Andrew and Chrissy Carroll

Pastor Andrew & Chrissy have been approached about a youth pastor position at a Foursquare Church in Oxnard, CA. After much prayer and confirmation, they have transitioned there. Their new church is in much need of their love and big hearts for God...and are VERY blessed to have them!

Pastors Andrew and Chrissy Carroll are recent graduates of Life Pacific College in San Dimas, CA who are continuing their calling and pursuit of pastor ministry. Chrissy completed her Master of Divinity at Azusa Pacific University this May. They were appointed to Ohana Christian Fellowship as Assisting Pastors and are greatly appreciated in their work. Our church is greatly blessed to have such quality pastors.

Andrew is a very gifted speaker and shares the teaching and preaching responsiblities, as well as other various functions in the congregation. He is continuing his education at Azusa Pacific University and looks to eventually enter into missions work in the future.

Chrissy is a vital part of making things happen within our congregation. Chrissy and Andrew team up to help lead our newly formed "Tweener" group.

Pastors Rick and Debbie Meyer

Pastors Rick and Debbie have transitioned to Amarillo, TX to fill the role of senior pastors following the fulfillment of a call from God to pastor the Living Way Foursquare Church over 20 years ago. Assisting pastors Andrew and Chrissy Carroll will be serving as interim pastors for the time being.

Pastors Rick and Debbie have served in pastoral ministry with the International Foursquare Church for over 25 years as senior, associate, and youth pastors, as well as serving in Christian education, as worship leaders and administrative pastors in the wonderful states of California, Arizona, Texas and Louisiana "Cajun country!" They have also served in various capacities for over 14 years at Life Pacific College in San Dimas CA. We are truly grateful that God has given us this awesome opportunity to serve the part of the body of Christ called Ohana Christian Fellowship and the community of people called Huntington Beach, California!

We believe that we are to work to build our congregation to be a healthy and fruit-bearing church who builds and trains others to be part of our family, our 'OHANA, who are:

• Believers in Jesus Christ who obey God's call and become servants in and to our community. These are people whose conerstone beliefs are to love God and love people; these are people who put others ahead of their own selves, working to see others come to know and accept Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord of their lives.
• Pastors and leaders who are not here just to pastor the local church body called Ohana Christian Fellowship but are here as pastors and leaders to our whole community--loving and serving them with the same love and servanthood that Christ himself demonstrated for us.
• Pastors and leaders whose desire is to build big people, not big churches or man-made kingdoms.
• Believers who receive the anointing and impartation of the Holy Spirit that Christ gave to His church. This Holy Spirit is given to the church for believers to enable them with God's power to effectively win people to Christ, to bring about loving and disciplined discipleship, and to develop the strength and leadership necessary for the advancement of God's Kingdom--in the believer's life and in the life of those with whom we share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
• Believers who read God's word and pray.
• Pastors and leaders who are humble, servant-minded, responsive to the Holy Spirit, dependent upon the Word of God, prayer warriors and willing to lead.

God CAN and WILL use any person willing to respond to Him and become loving, living, breathing, faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Working together, it is entirely possible to see our community and our world changed through the saving grace of Jesus Christ and power of God's Holy Spirit.
