[what we're about]

Simply, we are about loving God and loving people.

• Loving God translates into seeking Him first about everything knowing that whatever comes our way, He will take care of us.
• Loving people translates into how we reach out and serve our friends, family and community in the same manner which God has done for us.

We're not here to confront people in our community with everything that is wrong in their lives and society. There are enough nuts, fanatics and hellish things in this world that are already doing that--mistakenly, we might add. We are here, however, to tell anyone who will listen and receive the good news that by believing in Jesus Christ, you can have restored relationship and fellowship with God. Do you want to know what God desires for you? Turn in the Christian Bible to the book of Isaiah, chapter 61, and you can see for youself what the truth about God's desire for you is.

We are also here to live out and model the very things that Jesus Christ modeled for us. As he demonstrated His love for mankind by coming from heaven and giving up his life for us, we are to give our lives to everyone around us--at home and in community.

Our two primary directives in life are to love God and love people. Everything else we do must be come under those 2 commands. This means that as Christ gave His life for us, we give our lives in service to others because of the same love that God has shown us.
